Cold air intake fits BMW E46 330 only 2000-2005 with integral heat shield.
Features:
- All Racing Dynamic intake systems are manufactured from the finest materials and are engineered for your specific model BMW. There is nothing universal about our accessories for your Ultimate Driving Machine.
- Direct bolt on replacement high performance filter system.
- Heat shield is manufactured from low thermal conductivity composite to keep the hot air of the engine out of the intake air. This head shield is form fitted to match the engine compartment and includes sealing material to create an air tight seal against hood thus reducing the chances of hot engine air mixing with the intake air.
- Cold, dense intake increases horsepower. Typical aluminum (about 100 times less effective) and steel (about 50 times less effective) heat shields generally conduct heat rather than insulate against heat transfer.
- Special fabrication allows heat shield to conduct cold air directly from the OE high pressure intake system.
- Kit comes complete with special RACING DYNAMICS high performance air filter, composite heat shield to insulate engine heat from the cold air intake charge for increased performance and mounting hardware to mount to existing chassis locations. Instructions included.
