Introducing the MAD Skid Plate for the 2025+ BMW G90/G99 M5
Protect one of your G90/G99 M5’s most expensive and vulnerable components with the MAD Skid Plate. Constructed from 3mm-thick aluminum, it replaces the limited protection provided by the factory plastic panel with a substantially stronger barrier beneath the oil cooler.
Why Your M5 Needs Better Oil Cooler Protection
The factory plastic skid plate offers minimal defense against road debris, impacts, and damaged pavement. With the oil cooler positioned behind it, a hard strike can turn an everyday road hazard into an expensive repair.
The MAD Skid Plate adds durable aluminum protection where the G90/G99 M5 needs it most. Its 3mm thickness provides meaningful underbody defense without relying on the thin plastic construction of the original panel.
Whether your M5 is a daily driver or a weekend performance car, stronger oil cooler protection delivers valuable peace of mind on unpredictable roads.
