The Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for Mercedes-AMG A45, CLA45, and GLA45 models equipped with the M139 engine has been engineered to deliver a smoother, less restrictive airflow path to the turbocharger while maintaining low intake temperatures. Developed through extensive testing and real-world validation, this system improves turbo efficiency and unlocks measurable performance gains without compromising drivability.
By redesigning the intake architecture to create a more direct route for incoming air, Eventuri enables the turbocharger to generate boost with reduced aerodynamic drag. The result is faster spool, earlier boost onset, and stronger acceleration throughout the rev range.
Central to the system is Eventuri’s patented carbon fiber Venturi housing, designed to maintain laminar airflow from the filter to the turbo inlet. Unlike conventional cone filter designs paired with simple heat shields, the Venturi geometry promotes a controlled airflow transition that minimizes turbulence and reduces resistance on the turbocharger.
The system utilizes a bespoke Gen 2 high-flow dry filter paired with a sealed carbon fiber inlet duct which draws in cooler ambient air. This balance of increased flow rate and temperature control produces a net performance improvement while enhancing induction acoustics, allowing turbo spool to be heard more clearly under acceleration.
Independent performance testing has demonstrated gains of approximately 15–18 horsepower and 12–16 lb-ft of torque. Constructed from prepreg carbon fiber and supported by laser-cut stainless steel bracketry, the intake integrates seamlessly within the engine bay while delivering the premium visual presence expected from Eventuri.
