The best Volvo C70 S70 V70 1999-00 (C70 99-05) performance intercooler kit on the market! This BigPack includes both do88 performance intercooler and reverse intercooler pipe kit. This kit is for you with high horsepower goal and wants to upgrade to the absolute best! Only; changing to our performance intercooler is a Big improvement but together with our pressure pipe kit the improvement is Huge! Our pressure pipes has considerably better airflow than the stock pipes, this we have verified in several tests both in car and in our own SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench. Significant advantages with do88 BigPack (OEM intercooler/pipes): - Core volume: 12302m3 (7255cm3), do88 is 70% larger! - Air flow at 0,15bar/2,18psi pressure drop: 324CFM (203CFM), do88 59% higher! See diagram below! - Post intercooler air temperature at same conditions: 28°C (41°C), do88 13°C lower! See diagram below! - Fits all cars in list below! Note! Fitting this to a C70/V70 may require small modifications to the headlight washer engine, slight grinding of plastic and generally a little tweaking to allow clearance. BigPack includes a full aluminum performance intercooler and a complete 2,5; pipe kit and silicone hoses. This BigPack replaces everything between the turbo outlet and the throttle body this why it drastically improves the airflow / cooling performance compared to the original. do88 performance intercooler are an all-aluminum construction with cad designed, flow optimized cast end tanks and optimized core design to achieve best possible cooling efficiency combined with lowest possible pressure drop! The pressure pipes are manufactured in 2,5; mandrel bent seamless stainless steel pipes. These pipes reverse the flow through the intercooler, the air that goes to the throttle body is taken from the bottom of the intercooler. This makes the total length of the do88 pipes 600mm shorter than the OEM pipes. Our lower intercooler pipe has a very secure attachment of the pressure and temperature sensor in a custom casted / machined flange. Original attachment of these sensors can often cause problems with leakage at higher boost pressure than the original. Custom made high quality silicone hoses with 4 layers of polyester/aramid reinforcement. These hoses can handle very high temperature and pressure! Always remember that the OEM intercooler was designed for the power level the car was built for and a power increase or even very hard use of the car in a standard version may cause that the OEM intercooler dont have the performance you need. So only after engine software tune do88 BigPack will give a performance increase over the OEM intercooler! A common misunderstanding is that an intercooler installed in this position cannot provide good performance and a front mounted intercooler / FMIC would be much better. But actually the do88 BigPack are far better than most FMIC installations where only a core with small front surface are possible to install and often also installed partially behind the bumper beam which will reduce cooling capacity even further and often cooling below the OEM intercooler are achieved. do88 BigPack comes with all hardware necessary for installation. When you order this BigPack, there are one choices that needs to me made: Color: Three different hose colors are avalible Blue / Black / Red. There are no performance difference between the different colors, choose which color you think will be best for your car. |
