Description
The Corsa Exhaust for the E60 M5 is a simple and very effective muffler upgrade. The sound that this system produces on the V10 M5 is nothing short of extraordinary and you'll wonder how BMW could have bottled up the V10 wail all this time. Corsa mufflers make a ripping shriek that really sets this car apart from any other BMW. At low RPM and around town there is a subdued rumble. But getting high up in the RPM band will unleash the wail. On the highway the car is very civilized and composed. Corsa has a patented system that cancels out droning called Reflective Sound Cancellation. These are the pair of rear mufflers only that are a slip fit to the stock exhaust pipes after the factory resonator. Four 3.5" tips in either chrome or black poke out the back.
This system replaces the rear mufflers only. Just like on the factory exhaust, these install after the center resonator with included clamps for a slip-fit connection. BMW uses the same type of installation for replacement M5 mufflers. There is existing cut mark on the stock exhaust where the factory mufflers would get cut and removed. It's very easy and straightforward to install and the exhaust can remain on the car for the install, saving time and hassle. Detailed photographic instructions are included. This system is 100% Made in the USA and carries a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. This exhaust is emissions legal in all 50 states (no effect whatsoever on emissions, and no "Check Engine" warning lights).
