Touring Edition Axleback: 

A straight-through design, the AWE Touring Edition Axleback is a 3” T304L stainless steel configuration featuring AWE’s proprietary, drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®.

With aggression on-tap, the Touring Edition provides the ultimate experience for drivers wanting the ability to unleash the fury of the LS while providing drone-free in-cabin acoustics at cruising speeds. Responsive to throttle input, the 180 Technology®-equipped Touring Edition is capable of remaining tame until provoked by the driver.

Keeping the aggression at the rear of the C6, and out of the cabin, is AWE’s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®.

As exhaust gases exit the LS engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology®-equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports and into reflection chambers. Sound waves carried by these exhaust gases bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers.

By controlling the size and location of the ports and chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies.

Track Edition Axleback: 

Raw, rowdy, and lightweight. The AWE Track Edition Axleback is the perfect dose of steel for drivers looking for the loudest of the lot.

Retaining the 3” diameter T304L stainless steel construction, the Track Edition Axleback mirrors all of the precision engineering and perfect fitment found in its Touring Edition counterpart, minus the 180 Technology®. Instead, the Track Edition features straight-pipe sections to deliver the thunder.

This version produces a completely uncorked, rowdy soundtrack both in and out of the cabin and may be a bit much for some at highway speeds. You’ve been warned.

X-Pipe: 

The AWE X-Pipe is a full 2.5” T304L stainless steel, bolt-on mid-section. A precision-engineered X crossover grants the LS a refined muscle tone with a touch of exotic character.

Power to the pavement: 

The AWE Axlebacks + X-Pipe unlock dyno-proven gains of +21 hp and +22 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. AWE Axlebacks paired with the factory H-pipe unlock dyno-proven gains of +16 hp and +17 lb-ft of torque at the wheels.
