***CRITICAL INSTALLATION NOTE: Most compressor manufacturers recommend the replacement of "critical components" to maintain the compressor warranty. (See Warranty)
***COMPRESSOR FAILURE: Flushing the AC system is always required following a compressor failure. The accumulator or receiver/dryer, and the orifice tube or expansion valve cannot be flushed and must be replaced prior to installing a new compressor.
Warning: Failure to follow these steps may void the manufacturers warranty.
The installer may be required to submit evidence of compliance to the requirements herein to the manufacturer under a warranty claim.
- Refer to the manufacturer’s service information for full instructions.
