High-performance driving, especially with added power, can push your engine to generate excessive heat that the factory main radiator may struggle to dissipate. This can lead to elevated coolant temperatures, reducing the effectiveness of your vehicle’s cooling system and potentially impacting performance. The 034Motorsport Radiator Upgrade is designed to address these challenges, ensuring your EA839 2.9TT or 3.0T stays cool no matter the conditions.
The 034Motorsport Radiator Upgrade is designed to replace your factory radiator with the larger and more efficient 034Motorsport Radiator, engineered in collaboration with the cooling experts at CSF Radiators. The 034Motorsport Radiator Upgrade utilizes an all-aluminum construction, engineered to be a drop-in replacement for the factory radiator. Featuring a thicker performance radiator core and re-engineered billet aluminum end tanks to improve the efficiency of coolant flow, the 034Motorsport Radiator Upgrade increases the coolant capacity by 40% and improves heat transfer from the coolant to the air. This improvement in capacity results in a 16% improvement in cooling capacity by allowing your vehicle to retain the optimal temperature during high-performance driving and mitigating temperatures from rising!
Not only is it larger, but the 034Motorsport Radiator Upgrade utilizes 65 individual 2-row B-tube technology cooling tubes that carry coolant across the radiator core to help disperse heat, significantly reducing recovery time between pulls! CSF’s “B-tubes” are carefully formed and seam-brazed for a stronger, more efficient design than traditional welded “O” tubes. This allows for thinner, lighter aluminum with improved cooling. The seam-brazed inlet increases heat transfer surface area by ~15%, delivering the efficiency of two smaller tubes within the same space. This improved tube design over the factory is integral to enhancing the cooling process of the 034Motorsport Radiator Upgrade.
